Air-Operated Extrusion Pump for viscous materials up to 100,000 cP
A new extrusion pump, designed to dispense high viscous materials of up to 100,000 centipoise, was introduced today by the company B.S.C. Teknik.
Depending on the type of material and application, pumps for 20 to 200 liters (55 gallon) with discharge pressures of 240 to 350 bar are available. The air operated pumps, either in single or dual post design, are suitable to convey materials of up to 100,000 centipoise. Main applications are highly viscous and pasty materials such as insulation and sealing materials, highly viscous greases and lubricants, reactive adhesives and pasty printing inks. All pumps can be supplied with a stainless steel hydraulic device as an option.
Extrusion pumps are suited for a wide range of applications, including automotive, building construction, agricultural, recreational vehicles, solar energy, trains and railway, appliance and household goods, marine, and building and earth-moving equipment.
