The FX3000 features a large pattern size of up to 12.5 inches [318 mm]. The HVLP gun accepts nozzles from 1.3 to 1.8 mm, including base and clear sizes. The gun comes with a 600cc aluminum cup, wrench and cleaning brush. 3M PPS™ adapters can be used as an option. The Finex FX3000 gun is said to have approximately 29 percent fewer parts than previous Finex models.
The gun was jointly developed by Sharpe and its parent company, Graco. Graco acquired Sharpe in 2003 to enter the North American automotive refinishing market, then acquired ITW’s finishing business in early 2011 and is now the world’s leading supplier of fluid handling systems and components.
