To apply highly viscous and thixotropic coatings, the plant engineering expert Dürr has launched the manual spray gun EcoGun AS MAN 1AF. Special: The spray gun features a pressure-assisted gravity cup.
Cup is pressurized at rate of up to 0.4 bar
The gravity feed gun provides consistent material flow and fast application speed for even hihgly viscous and thixotropic materials by feeding compressed air to the pressurized cup at a rate of up to 0.4 bar. A pressure relief valve ensures that the pressure in the gravity feed cup system does not exceed 0.4 bar (Note: the Pressure Equipment Directive (PED) only applies above 0.5 bar).
Application: From water-based paints to adhesives
This system is suitable for a wide range of materials used in woodworking and and furniture production. This includes solvent- and water-based paints, stains, glazes, lubricants, prim, and adhesives. The fully nickel-plated surface also makes this spray gun easy to clean. It also comes with a wide range of nozzle sizes.
